In this role, your duties will include:
*Meet all deposit filing frequency deadlines.
*Communicate with tax agencies regarding errors or differences.
*Create, verify and send electronic tax payments.
*Process tax liability checks for agencies without electronic capabilities.
*Prepare and file tax forms as required e.g. 941,941-C, 940, SUI, SIT and local.
*Prepare, review and verify monthly, quarterly and annual tax reconciliations and reports.
*Process manual (off cycle) payments, reversals and adjustments.
*Perform payroll analysis as required.
*Research payroll tax liability differences.
*Maintain employee tax records.
*Assist in preparation and balancing of W-2 files.
*Assist in testing of upgrades and custom programs for the Payroll System.
Minimum qualifications include:
* 3+ years payroll tax experience.
* Knowledge of payroll and related HR subject matter.
* Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, including Access.
* Experience with large in-house payroll systems like Infinium in a diverse environment
